Keep to the Great Example, let the world continue; move on without being destructive – content, well-balanced, sublime.
Music and feasts let guests stay for a while. But if Dào is revealed, it appears tasteless and without allure.
One looks for it and does not see it, one listens for it and does not hear it. However, when one uses it, it is inexhaustible.
sinngemäß 35 Unbestechlichkeit
Wahre das Große Vorbild, lass die Welt weiter geschehen;. gehe weiter, ohne zu schaden – zufrieden, ausgeglichen, erhaben.
Musik und Festspeisen lassen die vorbeiziehenden Wanderer verweilen. Wird aber das Dào offenbart, scheint es erst fade und ohne Reiz.
Man schaut nach ihm und sieht es nicht, man lauscht nach ihm und hört es nicht. Doch verwendet man es, ist es unerschöpflich.
